Performance Evaluation and Scoring

The CAISG platform provides immediate feedback upon the completion of any assessment. Understanding these results is essential for both progressing through the curriculum and identifying areas for further professional development.

Passing Thresholds

A strict 80% passing threshold is applied to all examinations within the CAISG program. For module assessments, this requires a minimum of eight correct responses out of ten. The final certification exam follows the same percentage requirement, necessitating 40 correct answers out of 50.

This high standard ensures that all certified individuals possess a robust and reliable understanding of AI governance. Candidates who do not meet the threshold are encouraged to review the instructional materials before attempting the assessment again.

Continuous Learning through Rationales

The platform is designed to be a pedagogical tool even during the assessment phase. After an exam is graded, candidates can review their performance in detail. For every question, the system provides "Rationales" that explain the logic behind the correct answer.

These explanations offer:

  • Contextual Clarity: Why a specific choice is the most appropriate in a governance context.
  • Reference Alignment: Connections back to the core principles discussed in the modules.
  • Error Correction: Insights into common misconceptions or technical nuances.

Reviewing these rationales is a critical step in the learning process. It allows candidates to transform incorrect answers into opportunities for deeper understanding.

Retake Policy

Candidates may retake assessments as needed to achieve a passing score. There are no programmatic penalties for multiple attempts. Every attempt is an opportunity to improve, and the system records the highest score achieved.
